Okay… this looks bad. Sure William is still out of town but don’t worry, Dane and Vactor are here to bring you this week’s trade-themed review show. With the Kick-Ass 2 trailer hitting this week (pun totally intended) Vactor brings in Hit-Girl Volume 1 to talk about which somehow leads into a discussion of Mark Waid’s Daredevil Volume 4 and before you can say “pizza dog” Dane is monologuing about Hawkeye Volume 1 trade paperback (again? again!).

Fewer and fewer heroes wear masks these days but that’s all about to change as Dynamite Entertainment brings all of their most famous pulp era characters together for the first time in their new eight-part miniseries, Masks. Written by comic’s newest heavyweight hitter, Chris Roberson, and with a first issue painted front to back by the legendary Alex Ross, there is no doubt Dynamite has assembled one of the top creative teams possible. So how does this comic book dream team fare?


Watchmen Prequels Planned by DC

In a move rumored and debated for years, DC Comics has officially announced seven comic book prequels to Alan Moore’s 1986 bestseller Watchmen. After the break we have the creative line-ups and reactions from the original creative team, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.
