“Avengers: Age of Ultron” TV spot makes everyone look cooler

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Briefly: There’s so much good stuff in this new Avengers: Age of Ultron tv spot (particularly that Cap / motorcycle bit and the MCU’s version of a fastball special between Thor’s hammer and Cap’s shield), but the line that got me was Clint’s bit about being an Avenger. It’s a bit of dialogue that feels very close to something Matt Fraction would have scripted in his Hawkeye run and I hope Jeremy Renner is delivering that line to a group of civilians he’s protecting (although I have a feeling it’s what he uses to finally convince Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver to switch sides). Speaking of – we hear  Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Quicksilver accent for the first time and I don’t entirely hate it? We’ll see how it plays on May 1, but until then, enjoy just how much fun all this new footage is.

Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and James Spader. Directed and written by Joss Whedon, the film will release in the US on May 1, 2015.
