Rumor: Christopher Nolan to Shepherd Justice League Film, Christian Bale to Return as Batman

That’s right folks. Latino-Review is at it again, this time with a huge scoop related to Warner Bros.’ plans for the Justice League film. According to the site, WB has convinced Christopher Nolan to produce and shepherd the film (think Joss Whedon and his role in shaping all of Marvel’s films) and that Man of Steel director Zack Snyder will produce, if not direct, the film.

Additionally, the site reveals that there are talks to have Christian Bale return as Bruce Wayne.

LR believes that with stiff competition from Disney (specifically Whedon and JJ Abrams directing Star Wars) that big name directors are essential parts to building a big, overarching franchise film series and that’s the reason that Nolan has been asked to return and take this role.

Latino-Review has been on point with scoops recently (and has a good track record when it comes to DC related ones), but time will tell. There’s still HitFix’s conflicting report that JoGoLev is set to play Batman in the Justice League film, but plans change.

However, what do you think? Are you excited about the possibility of a Nolan-produced, Snyder directed, Henry Cavill and Christian Bale anchored Justice League film? Sound off in the comments below!
