Marvel just tweeted the following teaser image out, seemingly hinting that writer Kelly Sue DeConnick and artist Stefano Caselli will take over Avengers Assemble from writer Brian Michael Bendis or work on their own Avengers title as part of the Marvel NOW! relaunch. Regardless, this announcement is huge news for DeConnick as she’d be the first female creator to write an Avengers book. More as the story develops, but enjoy the teaser art below.
